The Zero is offered with three possibilities of stylus (see below), one of them for 78rpm records. The difference between the Zero and the Premium BE II is in the slightly smaller axis size. The magnetic force passes through the coil by the axis of the non-magnetic body of the cartridge. Since the magnetic force is not retained by the axis, the output falls down 0.3mV compared to that of the Premium BE, namely to the Zero’s output of 0.4mV. The Zero is a tour-de-force that every MONO record lover should have.
Miyajima’s Mono cartridges are considered by the audio community to be among the best in the world. All his models are selected as Best Components by Stereophile magazine, a rather unique accomplishment in the industry.
