The ForceField 3 is currently the only Goldenear sub with High Level input, crucial for a purist approach. Although the ultra-compact 8 inch driver is their smallest sub driver, the ForceField 3 1000-watt digital amp, 8” high-power long-throw active driver and 9-5/8”x 11-3/8” quadratic planar back-wave-driven radiator, give this modest sub more than enough bass for virtually any stereo system. Moreover, the simplicity of this unit allows us to take it very far with a few tweaks and modifications, making it much more attractive than more powerful, heavier and more expensive alternatives.
